Today was okay, overall. After work I worked out and then went to visit D and A. They were having computer troubles, so I went to help them out. D and A are Thomas' parents (Father and step-Mother, technically). For those of you who just joined this journal, Thomas is my dead ex-boyfriend.

Why is this significant? Because tonight, A got rather nostalgic about Thomas. Of course, that puts me in a bit of a nostalgic mood. All the things we did, the conversations we had, how we first met. On the second time we met, I was listening to a song on the radio that I grew to love. It was Cornershop's "Brimful of Asha". I still love that song. I heard it today on my ipod. Whenever I hear the song, I'm back in my car listening to that song, about to meet Thomas for the second time. We were meeting up at the gym to work out.

The first meeting was dinner and a movie. We saw L.A. Confidential at an AMC theatre around San Jose. He told me that he thought I would love this movie. And I did. He was always a sweet, thoughtful man. Of sound judgement, he was thoughtful and adorable. Life is good, but thoughts of him make me feel rather subdued.

I'm sleepy. I shall sleep.

I shall get to see both shows. :-) If you want to go, too, you can buy tickets online. Shindell is also doing a show at the Palms in Winters on the 29th of September. If you'd rather go to that one instead, or go to any number of them, let me know. I think I'm going to spend the night in Berkeley or some nearby inexpensive motel for the first two. But Beau will buy tix for the Winters show. They will probably be 18-20 bucks.
