Pre-commute musings
Sep. 30th, 2004 08:51 amWell, I'm feeling a bit better, but still slow getting up. I look forward to the weekend where I'll be getting a lot of sleep.
I'm a bit frustrated by being sick. I hate to be forced to slow down by my immune system.
Stanley Hersch was interviewed on "The Daily Show" recently (I guess last night? I tivo'd it). His book "Chain of Command" sounds tempting.
I've got the Presidential debates Tivo'd, as well. I feel sad about this whole election. I don't feel confident that Kerry is going to prevail during this election. I really hope Kerry gets it together on these debates.
Oh, and it looks like Backdraft is being remade...in the form of Ladder 49.

Date: 2004-09-30 02:16 pm (UTC)Of course, then it begs the question, should I put in a larger hard drive while I've got the thing open? I only have the 35hr model, and I do fill it up quickly when prime-time first run is going...other than installing RAM in my Macs, I'm a bit gunshy of messing with my electronics without someone who knows more than I do, though...I'm always afraid I'm going to break something important... :(
