Today is going rather well, despite me staying up a bit too late last night.

I had to drag out the down comforter. Oh, it felt so warm and cozy.

Flannel sheets + Down comforter + Winter = Bliss

I am a pint shy, currently. I donated blood in the Van o' Life that visited our place of work.

I can actually watch the needle inserted into my flesh, now. There was a time I couldn't do that. There was a time I wouldn't go near a blood-mobile.

Last night's tussle with my friends' computer was successful. It was touch and go there for a while. Whatever version of OED that was on there before was the devil's work. I finally purged the system of its demons and now the Oxford English Dictionary software works like butta.

Okay, back to work.

Yes, last night was my first night to wear fleece to bed WITH my down comforter...cozy! My place stays really cold, so I just bundle up all winter... ;)

Good for you for donating blood. I am still not allowed to donate because I stayed too long in the UK at the wrong time...guess they think I might be carrying some BSE prions for mad cow. It's a blessing in disguise actually, since I'm really squeamish about it anyway!

I bought the CD version, not the annual subscription. Yes, it was $300, but it's soooo wonderful. It was worth it...as long as it doesn't get scratched.
