Real Time with Bill Maher

You know, I am just recently becoming aware of some big flap involving Ward Churchill and various folks wanting him fired from his job at the University of Colorado.
Bill Maher had him on the show, along with a family member of the victim of 9/11. It appears to be driven from the right. It's really an issue of freedom of expression, it appears. Though some contend that Churchill is a liar and an evil man, based on the google search I did.
That said, Churchill certainly doesn't film well. I have not really known much about his work in the past, but he isn't even able to succinctly convey his own arguments on camera. I think Bill was about to smack him.
I don't think I disagree with the idea that the attack on the WTC was senseless, though. I think there was sense that drove the attack. Just not a sense that we care about, as Americans.
