In true "spare the rod and spoil the feline" tradition, I acquired some toys for my feline life-partner.

Sascha loves feathers, so I stocked up on feathery toys. It takes him one second to yank a tuft from one of the feathery wands. So much for long lasting feather supplies.

Tika's pretty tough on the feather toys, too, but they're her favorites. In fact, she mostly ignores her other toys, though I catch her playing with one every once in awhile.

Sascha played cork hockey tonight. She found an old cork I had hidden somewhere in the back of my counter, and was fiddling with it.

I should give Tika a cork to play with. She's been having a lot of fun with a scrap of cardboard.

No, it's best if you let the cat pick out his or her favorite disposable with which to play. :-)
