I came across this article tonight.

It's long. It talks about how Saddam didn't have any WMD come 2003, but that he had various plates to keep spinning: he was afraid Israel would attack if they knew he had no wmd, and the notion of him still possessing WMD played well in the Arab world, and finally, he wanted to cooperate with the UN.

But essentially, he no longer had any WMD...holy cow.

Any thoughts?

Thoughts are simple...

Afghanistan attacks us, but Bush Co has interests in Iraq. We've had pretty good knowledge about the goings on in Iraq since the 80's under Reagan... and we know full well that there were no WMDs...

Bush still sent our soldiers to be killed by the hundreds (while hiding the bodies coming home and cutting benefits to vets and their families) and killing Iraqi citizens by the thousands (and we were upset about losing 3,000 in 9/11... they've lost 3 times that)

The money sent to Iraq has been used to protect corporate interests... we're only protecting the buildings we care about and screwing over the rest of the country.

Bush co... all of them... should be arrested as war criminals and sent to a jail cell with Saddam to spend the rest of their lives seeing just how OK it is to torture prisoners...

These are just a taste of my thoughts... and the flavor is absolute outrage

Well, I thought there was a small chance that he could have some WMD squirrelled away somewhere. It turns out the WMD cupboards were barren!

I knew Saddam was mad, I didn't quite realize how mad.
