I'm watching season 1 of the UK version of The Office.
Oh my. It's hilarious. It's so dadgum true! So it's painfularious. Though honestly, the boss should have been shitcanned after the second episode.
speakerwiggin has noted the myriad of cool confirmed guests for Dragoncon this year. The excitement builds!
Here are some bad photos of my trip to the ballgame last night.

Date: 2006-05-04 04:57 am (UTC)PLEASE promise me you will watch BOTH series IN ORDER before ever watching the 2-hr Christmas Special finale! That's only 12 episodes in both series so it isn't difficult. Without the entire series under your belt, the finale won't be anywhere near as satisfying. I swear I think it is the most satisfying finale to a series I have EVER seen. :) I was the geekiest ever when the finale hadn't reached the US yet and it was on Virgin Airlines on our way over for the choir tour...people were looking at me funny as I ran around the plane telling everyone... ;) ...but I also watched it again on the flight back because I knew it still hadn't reached the US then!
FYI, I watched Extras on HBO, which had its moments, especially the finale with Patrick Stewart as a dirty old man! Plenty of Ricky Gervais cringeworthy comedy style, and actually seeing Stephen Merchant on screen was even better, but it's not anywhere near as funny as the Office. The female lead rightly won the British Comedy award for best new talent (or whatever the award was), since she consistently outshined Ricky. After listening to Ricky Gervais' free podcasts, I'm convinced Stephen Merchant is the funnier one and Ricky is the one-hit wonder...but we'll see with the next series of Extras at least...
Okay, enough of my prattle...but I'm also still watching the US Office on NBC because it's taken on its own flavor, and I'm as hooked on the Pam/Jim thing as I was on the Dawn/Tim thing...heh! ;)
