Good morning, or something like it

I'm here at work for the 7am shift because my coworker is on "vacay". Words could describe how I feel about this, but a simple "grumph" will suffice.
The good news is that I'll get off work early.
Last night I was working on my drum recording so that I could collaborate more with my friends. I have much to work on. My tracks are clipping, and I'm not happy about the sound quality. And then there's the whole challenge of being able to keep time with someone else's track, instead of being the time keeper. Much work here. I was a bit discouraged last night, but I know what I need to do, and I just need to keep working on it.
24 last night? Goodness. Already 4 hours into it.
Apparently it's going to be a bad season for our Citrus crop here in California. Avocados and nursery flowers are taking a hit, as well thanks to the cold weather last week. I guess since we haven't had a season like this since 1998, this isn't too bad, but still, it's a bad time to be an Agricultural employee.
