So...yeah...Boston...
How are you doing, Boston? I hear you had a rough day. Here, have a beer. No, wait, Boston. Here, have two. Lite Brite signs are entertainment to me but it's a big deal to you.
It's nice to know that the next time a mass marketing campaign hits your city, you'll be ready. After the Towers, I'm sure Al Qaeda has been under a lot of pressure in the terrorist community to top their attack on the World Trade Center. But, we've been dogging them fairly consistently for six years, low budget, high impact was the name of the terrorist game. The message from Osama was clear: low cost, high panic attacks were the wave of the future.
Clearly suicide bombings won't instill terror in us. We hear about them every day. Buh-or-ing, people!
So, move over exploding cars and arab martyrs, now there's something more sinister:

Bow to your new masters.
Oh yeah. These terrorists don't mess around. The terrorists were going to hypnotise us with these dazzling, seductive led displays. They would have succeeded had it not been for those vigilant Bostonians.
I wonder what terrorist folk are saying when they heard news of this little flap? But now they have open season to put bombs in Lite Brites.
So is this the first instance of the self-imposed hoax?
Thanks to this incident. Things like my garage door and house alarm look sinister. Hell, in proper lighting, my indoor plumbing looks sinister. And when I pop the case off my computer, whoa. That's all kinds of sinister.
