Mar. 30th, 2003 10:39 pmI recently came home, after dinner, and work.
Today was good. Dinner was great, but something disagreed with my intestines, and I had some gastronomical adventures in the bathroom shortly after dinner.
I bought Craftsman Toolz today! I needed a wratchet, and an adjustable wrench and they were MINE! Muhahahaha.
In addition to the remainder of the Sandman volumes, I received Gore Vidal's "Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace". It is thought provoking, thus far. Mr. Vidal asks some interesting questions. I'll wait to write more on it later.
I finished reading "League of Extraordinary Gentleman, vol. I". I wonder where volume II is. I have not yet seen it in stores. I saw some mention of it on a comics website, but nothing about when it was released or where to buy it. Hmmm.
My cat is currently vexed by some flying bug. He looks dreadfully silly while attempting to hunt it down and kill it. Some bugs might think me insensitive to say such a thing, but I'm heartless that way.

Date: 2003-03-30 11:28 pm (UTC)To make it up to me, I think you should tell me why Jeffery (my notebook) is running off his battery despite the fact that he is plugged into a powerstrip. And you thought your cat was vexed!

Date: 2003-03-30 11:40 pm (UTC)(Not that you asked, but my former notebook was called Raoul. He was my latin lover. I tossed him over when I grew tired of him and needed some(one)thing more updated. I'm so cruel.)

Date: 2003-03-31 01:37 pm (UTC)Moore was talking about something else he did, which is an atlas of imaginary places found in literature. It sounded fascinating--a map of places that exist only in imagination, but in real-life settings, such as Sherlock Holmes' London. I missed the name of it though.

Date: 2003-03-31 02:16 pm (UTC)I enjoyed the League of Extraordinary Gents. The notion was rather creative, and some of the humor was fun, as well.
