Mar. 22nd, 2004 01:32 pmGood afternoon, gentle readers.
I'm sleepy today. I got about six hours of log-sawing, so I don't know why I feel like I only slept for two or three. I don't remember my dreams, but perhaps they were rather vivid. Before bed, I was reading a book about the Templars. Right now I'm shuffling through the history of religious conflict between Rome and the Jews.
Why, knowing the history of the bitter rivalry between Palestine and Israel, and knowing all the muslim extremism going on in the Middle East, would anyone want to get involved in a conflict with these grudge-bearing pukes? I would have stepped up the research into alternate fuel sources and let the oil jockies work their own crap out. They would kill each other off eventually. Besides, islamic folks would be much more understanding if they killed themselves off, as opposed to having us kill them off on their behalf. Autonomy counts for a lot, here.
There are some fun articles in Salon.com today. I'll post about them later.
Only 4.5 hours left at the place of my employment. Then, I shall hoof it to the gym, with my most utilitarian new Bass Outlet gym bag. It has many useful compartments, and it was only 16 smackers.
I changed my sheets last night (as foreshadowed by my Mattress Dancing post from yesterday). The cream egyptian cotton sheets were used, with a mauve blanket. My gray cat, Sascha, looked simply darling against the mauve blanket as he sprawled out for his morning nap. Oh, to live the life of a cat.
