Hiking and BBQ April 21 and 22 019
Apr. 23rd, 2006 09:57 amI went hiking at Point Reyes yesterday, and to a barbeque the night before. You can find more pictures here.
The hike itself was very doable. There was one incline that compelled me to heavy breathe my co-hiker. Lots of sludge on the trail, too. So it was fun to navigate around all that.
Now, I must go do laundry, get some groceries, and decide what else I wish to do on this day.

Date: 2006-04-23 05:38 pm (UTC)I can tell you that with no modifications done to the weber grill, the bottom grate gets very pliable, but there is some melting of the handle. Largely, it stays in tact, so far. Sadly, the temperature of the fire does not get high enough to melt glass, as much as my compatriots and I attempted. Well, at least when the fire was just embers. You can make the glass dimple a bit, though. :-)
